Production company Submarine released a series of interactive booktrailers, where
writers, comic artists and webdesigners joined forces to build stunning online experiences.

This one was based on the book "Friend" by Dutch writer Charles den Tex. The book, a thriller
about spionage and identity, was the perfect source of inspiration to a beautiful, dark website.

The film is interactive. Through your cursor or finger (when using a mobile device), different
animations are triggered. They play and stop where you want them to. The project's inventivity was
discussed all over the web. The film won "Special mention" for best website at the Awwwards,
the awards for design, creativity and innovation on the internet.
